Opening event: Those Who Kept the Light & Laskoksia (Foldings)

On Friday, 26th of January, from 5 pm until 8 pm, we will celebrate the opening of two exhibitions: Nastja Säde Rönkkö’s Those Who Kept the Light and Hannele Rantala and Kari Soinio’s joint exhibition Laskoksia (Foldings). On the same day, we will also have Kalevan Navetta’s Winter Day Event in the house. Welcome!
Programme
5 pm Exhibition doors open
5 – 7 pm Paper Boat Workshop at the workshop space Itikka, 2nd floor
Remember how to make paper boat? In our pop up workshop you can fold paper boats under the art instructor of Kunsthalle Seinäjoki. Tune into the themes of the exhibitions through the maritime atmosphere and memories. Participation is free of charge. Suitable for all ages.
5.30 pm Exhibition space Halli, 2nd floor

6 pm Exhibition space Vintti, 3rd floor

The bistro of Restaurant Äärellä is open until 9.30 pm, 1st floor
The Kunsthalle Seinäjoki Art Exhibition Opening events are free of charge and open to all. In the opening events you will be among the first to experience the new art exhibition. You wll also get to know the artists and other exhibition creators. The opening evenings are usually combined to the Kaleva Navetta event days: the house will then be full of varied programme activities organized by the many actors of the cultural centre.
