The exhibitions in 2025 reflect on power, borders and roots

Exhibitions are thematically connected with realities and spaces of remembering, traditions of memorials, power hierarchies around them and questions of the relations between identity and locality. Some of the exhibitions are based on very personal experiences, some deal with the themes on a more collective level. Important themes that cut through the exhibition programme of the Kunsthalle Seinäjoki are relevant topics in the countryside, both locally and globally. The unique exhibition spaces, Halli and Vintti, also play an important role and create background for ambitious high quality contemporary art program at the arts and culture centre Kalevan Navetta.
